Triduum Time

As promised here is a little description about what goes on during the Triduum here at Epiphany. Please come and join us, you will not regret it.

Are you living out Palm Sunday or Passion Sunday?

Here we are in the midst of Holy Week, and I pray that all of you truly do have a holy week. In order for this to happen though you are going to have to get rid of the distractions, and also the serious temptation to start celebrating Easter already. So, make sure to spend time in prayer (more than usual) and fasting. Of course there are plenty of opportunities for you to pray here at Epiphany this week, starting tomorrow with the living stations at 1:00. If possible, make sure to come to some of the Triduum liturgies here at Epiphany, they will all make you grow closer to Christ. Look for a video soon about what the Triduum is all about (hopefully tomorrow) and plan on coming to celebrate with us.

The Greatest Commandment

If you were at the Masses that I celebrated this past weekend, you already know that it was a short homily. As it turns out it is the shortest Sunday homily that I have ever given, but just because it is short doesn't mean that it is bad (or good for that matter). What an example of faith and trust we had this past weekend with our father in faith Abraham. You know that we too are called to have this faith and trust in God as well, but so often we fail because we are afraid of what may happen. So, as you continue your Lenten journey make sure to continue to pray for the strength and courage to follow what Gods will is for you.
