The picture to the right is the burial place of Lazarus. I was able to visit the Holy Land a couple of years ago, and one of the places that we visited was Bethany. The interesting thing about Bethany is that although it is only two miles away from Jerusalem, it took us around an hour to get there because of all of the security check points that they have. Needless to say, the area around Jerusalem has changed quite a bit since Jesus' time. However, it is still worth going to visit if you can, because you will have a much greater appreciation of Scripture.
